New management from 2017 makes big visible difference. Cleaner, quiet times (siesta and night), bar, shop, swimming pool. Security at gates stopping non guest makes it much safer. Great location with beautiful see access Overall great value, worth a stay!

Things to do around

Nebrodi Park

Sicily, Italy

Even less frequented than the neighboring Madonie Mountains, the Nebrodi is Sicily’s largest national park, instituted in 1993. Monte Soro is the park’s highest mountain, at 1847m, and while other peaks are lower than in the Madonie, the region still presents some spectacular landscapes, due in no small part to its lakes and the imposing backdrop of Mount Etna.

Tindari

Sicily, Italy

Tindari is one of the last Greek colonies in Sicily. Visit the ruins (Greek-Roman theatre, Roman thermal baths, Roman huts, Basilica and tabernae) and the famous Cathedral consecrated to Black Madonna. You'll enjoy the spectacular view of the amazing Marinello lakes, a protected area just in front of the Cathedral. Degustation of delicious pastries and free time for shopping.

Taormina

Sicily, Italy

Charming city, settled on a cliff above two of the most famous harbors on the Sicilian Eastern coast, with Mount Etna in the background. Walking around the Old Town with its elegant and exclusive shops and degustation of typical pastries and specialities.
